Under the automatic disciplinary provisions of the Institute’s bylaws, Mr. Crane was terminated from membership in the AICPA, effective May 24, 2011, in connection with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s disciplinary action. Specifically, the PCAOB permanently barred Mr. Crane from being an associated person of a registered public accounting firm for failing to cooperate with a Board inspection.
