Anderson, Jeffrey S. - Phoenix, AZ

Under the automatic disciplinary provisions of the Institute’s bylaws, effective August 9, 2012, Mr. Anderson’s AICPA membership was suspended coincident with the duration of the suspension period by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Specifically, the PCAOB barred Mr. Anderson from being associated with a registered public accounting firm with the right to file a petition for Board consent to associate with a registered public accounting firm after two years from the date of the Order. This decision was based on the PCAOB’s findings concerning violations of PCAOB rules and auditing standards related to the audits, by Mr. Anderson’s firm, of the December 31, 2005, 2006, and 2007 financial statements of a public company and a consultation concerning the company’s accounting for product returns stemming from the firm’s Audit Quality Review in 2006 of the public company’s December 31, 2005 audit.
