    CPAs make such a difference in the lives of their clients. Thanks to tax and personal financial planning services, CPAs enable many people to achieve their financial goals and dreams. Now, in a new campaign that is running now to May 30, 2014, we’re reminding consumers of the role their CPA played in life’s special moments and asking them to share their stories.

    Using the Power of Social Media

    Ads on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube will point out CPAs’ public service commitment and the important work they do to help clients achieve life’s goals. One click will take consumers to the campaign web page:

    They’ll see photos and short videos that clients submitted as CPA powered moments, and find simple tools to share their own stories — and even have a chance to win an iPad Air.

    It's All About Sharing

    Thanks to the hashtag #CPAPOWERED, and our requests to consumers to share their stories on social media, the images and videos will be seen by many.

    The result? A groundswell of people seeing that life’s most important moments are brought about with the support of their CPA.

    Invite Your Clients to Participate

    Encourage your clients to share their stories and take part in the fun as well, with an image, video or tweet. We’ve made that easy, too. Just click on the "Resources to Share" link on the left navigation bar to download materials to help you promote the campaign.

    • A clickable graphic created just for the campaign. Use it on your website or in your client newsletter and it will send your clients to the #CPAPOWERED homepage.
    • Email copy to let your clients know about this program. We’ve provided sample copy that you can personalize or use as is.

    The campaign includes one other element meant as a treat for two AICPA members.
