The AICPA supports the Diversity Section of the American Accounting Association (AAA) through increasing networking opportunities, participation in professional development programs, and research opportunities to minority accounting faculty. The goal of this partnership is to enable tenure-track minority faculty to build strategic alliances with peers and encourage faculty to conduct scholarly research.
AAA/AICPA Faculty Delegate Sponsorship
The AICPA sponsors the opportunity for untenured minority accounting faculty to attend the American Accounting Association (AAA) Annual Meeting. This meeting provides an excellent platform to promote information exchange on teaching and research.
Eligibility
To qualify for this sponsorship, you must be:
- An ethnic minority in a tenure-track faculty position (Tenured faculty members are not eligible for this program.)
- A member of the AAA Diversity Section
- Willing to facilitate the completion of your university’s AICPA Supply & Demand Survey
- Able to present or discuss a paper or be a panel member at the AAA Annual Meeting
