Candidates are responsible for reviewing the Uniform CPA Examination tutorial and sample tests. CBT-e Launch - 1/1/2011
On January 1, 2011, many CPA Examination changes will be introduced, including new Content and Skill Specification Outlines (CSOs/SSOs), an updated authoritative literature release with a new research task format, short Task-Based Simulations (TBS), as well as a new section structure, time allocations, and scoring weights.
Access to Authoritative Literature
CPA candidates who have been deemed eligible to take the CPA Examination (those who have received Notices to Schedule) are eligible for a free six-month subscription to online access to authoritative literature used on the CPA Examination.
Tutorial and Sample Tests
The Tutorial demonstrates the tools available to candidates and the Examination’s functionality. The Sample Tests provide a preview of the Examination experience. Candidates are required to review both the Tutorial and Sample Tests before they report for the Examination.
