    How did you learn about the AICPA?
    I found AICPA on CareerBuilder when I was looking for a new opportunity.

    How long have you been employed with the AICPA?
    I’ve been with the AICPA since February 2008.

    Why did you decide to come to the AICPA?
    I decided to join the AICPA because of the people. My team is amazing and we have great rapport. Additionally there are great opportunities for growth and development and no matter where you are in the company you have the ability to make impactful contributions.

     

     

     


    Why do you like working at the AICPA?
    At the AICPA, I get to work with a top notch team of professionals that use their talents, passion and brilliance to help the institute and the profession succeed in our objectives. The HR team touches every part of the institute so I have had the opportunity to work on projects and interact with staff from all across the organization across all of our locations.

    What cool projects have you worked on at the AICPA?
    I’ve had the privilege of spearheading several major projects. The first was the selection and implementation of the Applicant Tracking System for the institute, which you will use to submit your resume to us should you apply for a position. The second big project was the redesign of our Careers site and some of the content which you are reading now.  Most recently I was responsible for the selection and implementation of a new benefits enrollment system for the Institute, impacting all 700+ employees and interfacing will all of our benefits carriers.  I am also responsible for our HR analytics used by our leadership to help guide the institute forward.

    What is your favorite perk/benefit about working at the AICPA?
    One of the great perks about working for the AICPA is our work/life balance and flexible work arrangement options such as compressed work weeks and telecommuting. While not possible for all positions at the institute, many staff have the ability to occasionally work from home if needed or engage in telecommuting or compressed work week options.

    What’s unique about working at the AICPA as compared to other employers?

    While some employers may talk the talk of Career Development the AICPA engages in it. Our Leadership team and Managers want to help their employees succeed and are truly invested in helping staff reach their career goals with the Institute.

    Name an AICPA membership program or activity you work on and its significance to the profession.
    While I don’t touch AICPA Membership programs directly, I work with teams across the organization that are directly involved in those initiatives, including Academic & Career Awareness, Peer Review, Professional Ethics, Member Service Operations and a host of others.
