    How did you learn about the AICPA?
    I was contacted for an ad sales position by a Publishing Executive Recruiter.

    How long have you been employed with the AICPA?
    14 years.

    Why did you decide to come to the AICPA?
    I was impressed by the print publications Journal of Accountancy, The Tax Adviser (AICPA online media products did not yet exist); as well as the AICPA Conferences, which I would be selling for. And I really liked the idea of working for large membership, non-profit association, something I had never done before.

    Why do you like working at the AICPA?
    I enjoy the unique challenges of making sure the publications and services we offer meet the needs of both members and advertisers. Being part of a very large team, I work with and for very bright and talented people. 
     
    What cool projects have you worked on at the AICPA?
    My first task as Associate Publisher was to build my sales team, which was wonderful. The launch of new media products is challenging and exciting. Technology continues to create new opportunities for more. I’ve also had the great privilege to work on the Journal of Accountancy Centennial issue, as well as Commemorative issue we produced to celebrate  AICPA’s 125th Anniversary.

    What is your favorite perk/benefit about working at the AICPA?
    The greatest perk is working with people I enjoy and respect. All of the benefits are excellent.

    What’s unique about working at the AICPA as compared to other employers?
    I find the support for education and career growth to be extraordinary at AICPA.

    Name an AICPA membership program or activity you work on and its significance to the profession. 
    Being a part of the media that reaches the membership is very exciting, especially as technology allows us to expand in so many directions to deliver information and material in so many ways. And including advertising in our media products, we’re able to offer the membership many resources to help them grow their business.
